This change will apply to a small part of you. When a birthday was missing, there was a failure on import.
I also increased the size of the names on the Family screen as some reported difficulty in selecting the desired person.

Thanks for the update. I like the larger names on the family screen. Things seem to be working pretty well with this version. I did get one force close when I clicked on the name of a brother living with his sister. Not sure why, they do have different last names but children of other families with different last names display fine.

If I have photos from the website loaded into the family and individual directories using the naming conventions in the help, they are showing up square and left justified in the overview, even though the original photos are rectangles.
ReplyDeleteAlso individual photos are sometimes showing up, sometimes not. I thought maybe it was because of the middle names. I didn't add the middle name to the photos unless it was part of the preferred name. So some that have I don't use a middle name on the photo name still show up, while most don't. If you are taking the photo name, are you using the preferred name, or the full name entries?

Thank you so much for this application! It is exactly what I have been needing. One request/question, is it possible to be able to copy the text of the address or phone number so that I could send someone else an address or number via text or email? Thanks again

ReplyDelete@cary: I use preferred name if it is there, but I am getting the middle names off of the regular name, not preferred.
@Erica: That is a great idea. Look for it in a coming version. (though, don't look for a new version until next month as I'm swamped in another project and won't be able to handle anything but bug fixes this month).

ReplyDeleteYes, there is a difference between the MLS version and the website version. There is no additional data for individuals from the website, so it would not make sense to click on their name. I disabled the invidual page for the website version because the page looked funny without any info on it.
