Thanks to everyone who sent this in, but I unknowingly released 0.3.0 with a bug. In my haste to get compatibility for MLS 3.1.1, I released the software without testing it with the Online data file. A force close was error was introduced, but thanks to some observant users, the bug has been detected and fixed.
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Super! Thanks for the quick update. My data loads fine now.
ReplyDeleteA little more feedback:
I finally nailed down one bug that I've been having. If I have a single parent family, when I click on their first child I get a force close, clicking on second child gives me the first child and so on down the list until the last child gives me the next to last child. I tried this on quite a few single parent families and got the same result.
A second thing is that only half of a person's address gets linked to click on. When I click on it I will get the street and city but not the house address part.
Lastly, I'm still looking forward to the password protection.
Thanks again for updates.
CB: thanks for the detail on the bug. I'll see if I can duplicate it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the address thing is totally a google bug. They don't recognize your address for whatever reason.
I'm looking forward to password protection as well. :)
Thank you for the last few updates, but something happened with the update on Dec 5. Now my ward listing only goes to the letter D and not all the member information is there. The street addresses are missing and the ages of the members show incorrectly, off by a few years. I am using the file I got from MLS because I am a ward clerk. Before the last two updates, everything was displaying correctly. Please help.
ReplyDeleteI can get the online Directory.csv to work fine, but I cannot get the clerk export Membership.csv to work at all. Could somone send me the top row of a Membership.csv that has worked, so I can make sure it is the same as mine? jerrisjatgmaildotcom. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteMr Boy, I'm including the to row of the Membership.csv file:
ReplyDelete"Indiv ID","Full Name","Preferred Name","MRN","HofH ID","HH Position","HH Order","Household Phone","Individual Phone","Household E-mail","Individual E-mail","Street 1","Street 2","D/P","City","Postal","State/Prov","Country","2-Street 1","2-Street 2","2-D/P","2-City","2-Zip","2-State/Prov","2-Country","Ward Geo Code","Stake Geo Code","Sex","Birth","Baptized","Confirmed","Endowed","Rec Exp","Priesthood","Mission","Married","Spouse Member","Sealed to Spouse","Sealed to Prior",
Thanks Alan.
ReplyDeleteWell, that did not work either. Directory works, but not Membership. If I rename a Membership to Directory, then it will import, but then it is importing all of the wrong fields (because they are obviously different reports.) I have tried reinstalling numerous times. And now, even an older version I had backed up will not work (but that could be because my new report is from 3.1.1). Is there a cache somewhere on the phone that can/should be cleared?
Mr. Boy,
ReplyDeleteHow old is your Membership.csv file? There is a new version of MLS (3.1.1) and you will need the latest and greatest. All wards should have gotten MLS 3.1.1 within the last 2 or 3 weeks.
If I remember correctly, I pulled the file from 3.1.1. Plus, all of my column headers match the ones that you sent me, so I would say it was certainly from 3.1.1
